ABA Therapy at Ottawa ABA Academy
At Ottawa ABA Academy, we specialize in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, a scientifically proven approach to helping children with autism and developmental disorders develop essential skills and positive behaviors. programming placement assessment

At Ottawa ABA Academy, our assessment services are designed to inform individualized programming, behaviour support plans, and educational placement decisions. Under the supervision of a qualified Psychologist or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), we conduct comprehensive evaluations that focus on a child’s learning profile, behavioural patterns, adaptive skills, and functional performance across settings.
Using evidence-based assessment tools and direct observation, our team analyzes key areas such as communication skills, problem-solving abilities, social interaction, task engagement, and independent functioning. This process allows us to identify strengths, skill gaps, and behavioural barriers that may impact learning and daily activities.
The results of our assessments are used to develop individualized behaviour intervention plans, skill acquisition programs, and tailored educational recommendations. We collaborate closely with families and schools to support appropriate classroom placement, structured programming, and targeted therapeutic interventions.
Our goal is to ensure that every child receives a clear, actionable plan that supports meaningful progress and long-term success.
