At Ottawa ABA Academy, our Academic Support service is designed to help children and youth build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to succeed in their learning environment.

Our team provides individualized support based on each learner’s strengths, needs, and academic goals. We use structured, evidence-based strategies to make learning more accessible, engaging, and meaningful.

Academic Support may focus on:

• Developing reading, writing, and math skills

• Improving attention, focus, and task completion

• Building organization and study skills

• Supporting homework and school assignments

• Teaching effective learning strategies

• Developing independence with academic routines

• Supporting communication and classroom-readiness skills

• Helping children manage frustration and stay engaged with learning

• Reinforcing positive learning behaviours and confidence

We work at the learner’s individual pace and adapt strategies to help them experience success. Our goal is to support not only academic progress, but also confidence, independence, and a positive attitude toward learning.
